Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make My Family Vision Clinic a proud provider of vision care products and services in McCook and Benkelman.
Dr. Thomas Moser
Dr. Moser earned a Doctorate in Optometry from The Ohio State University, graduating with Cum Laude honors. He received the E.F. Wildermuth scholarship for academic achievement and is part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. He is also a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and is NBEO-certified to practice full-scope optometry here in Nebraska including diagnosing and treating all disorders of the eye and visual pathway. “I love helping people see clearly, from the youngest children getting their first pair of glasses to the elderly getting their sight back from a successfully treated eye condition.” He deeply cares about vision and has gone on two humanitarian trips to Peru and Ecuador to donate time and services to help people in those countries see clearly.
In 2015 Dr. Moser took over at Burrows Vision Clinic when both Dr. Tim and Greg Borrows retired, and changed the name to My Family Vision Clinic. “I want to be able to treat everyone that walks through our door as family and give the best care possible.” Though being a transplant to the area, Dr. Moser enjoys ‘The Good Life’ here in Nebraska with his wonderful wife and six children.
Dr. Moser is fluent in Portuguese after living in Brazil for a few years, and he speaks conversational Spanish. In his free time, he enjoys the never-ending tickle fights at home with his young kids.
Dr. Paige Nielsen
Dr. Paige Nielsen was born and raised in Wheatland, WY. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Chadron State College in 2010. Dr. Nielsen attended optometry school at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR where she earned her Doctorate in May of 2014. She served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 2014 to 2017 at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY. Dr. Nielsen is also a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association.
In June of 2017, she married Matthew Nielsen and they moved to McCook in July of 2018. They now have two kids who love to spend time outside learning and exploring. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, dancing, and swimming.
Abbie – Office Manager
Abbie was born in Imperial, Nebraska. Abbie grew up on a farm/ranch by Wauneta, Nebraska. Abbie and her husband, Josh settled down in the country near Culbertson, Nebraska. Abbie enjoys spending time with her family and watching her two kids explore and learn using their imaginations.
Abbie joined our team at My Family Vision Clinic in April of 2021. Abbie is our Office Manager. She is in charge of billing. She will help you learn the insertion/removal process of contacts, along with answering any questions you have in regard to contact lenses. She will help you find the perfect frame and lens options to fit your needs. She enjoys seeing patient’s excitement when putting on their glasses for the first time. Abbie also does adjustments, verifies prescriptions, orders glasses/contact lenses, and dispenses glasses/contact lenses.
Angyll – Optician
Angyll was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Angyll has a five-year-old pure bred English Cocker Spaniel dog, named Sir Francis Bacon. Angyll enjoys online shopping, playing with Francis, and playing the flute/singing. Angyll is very passionate about music, animals, and helping others.
Angyll joined our team at My Family Vision Clinic in February of 2024. Angyll is one of our opticians in the McCook office and also travels to the Benkelman office. Angyll’s favorite part of her job is getting a rewarding smile from a patient after they receive a good service. She also enjoys learning all the new “optical” knowledge. Angyll will assist you in finding the perfect frame and lens options to fit your needs. Angyll also does adjustments, verifies prescriptions, orders glasses, and dispenses glasses/contact lenses.
Jordan – Pretest Technician
Jordan was born in Laramie, Wyoming. She has two cats, named Smokey and Oakley, both are 1.5 years old. She also has a dog named Nova who is 4 years old. She enjoys cooking, camping, and hiking. She is passionate about recovery and self-work/healing.
Jordan joined our team at My Family Vision Clinic in May of 2024. She is our Pre-test Technician. She helps prepare our patients for our doctors by completing many computerized tests. She will walk you through each test and make this process easy! Jordan also helps with adjusting glasses, ordering contacts, dispensing glasses/contacts, and insurance claims. Jordan’s favorite part of her job is getting to meet a variety of people.
Alyssa – Front Desk Receptionist
Alyssa was born in Beloit, Kansas. She is happily married to her husband, Austin and they have one daughter, who is 8 months old. She also has a Corgi/Border Collie dog named Lamar and he is 3 years old. Alyssa enjoys going on walks and spending time at the park with her family (including Lamar). She also enjoys going swimming/to the lake in the summertime. Alyssa is passionate about helping those in need, being an advocate for those without voices, and being the best mom/wife she can be.
Alyssa joined our team at My Family Vision Clinic in December of 2023. She is our Front Desk Receptionist. Her responsibilities include taking patient information, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance. Her fun and easy-going personality makes scheduling appointments simple. Alyssa’s favorite part of her job is seeing all of our patient’s smiling faces, especially when we can help solve problems with their vision.
Holly – Front Desk Receptionist
Holly is the Front Desk Receptionist in the Benkelman office. Holly’s job responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, adjusting glasses, and dispensing glasses/contacts. Holly also completes the necessary tests on patients before they see the doctor.
